Itinerary
Day 1 - We depart from your hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. Transfer to Zion National Park & explore Zion Canyon, an amazing oasis carved by the Virgin River. See the famous Monoliths; the Great White Throne, Angels landing, and Towers of the Virgin. See the Great Arch and Checkerboard Mesa as we travel the Mt Carmel Highway through East Zion. As we continue to Bryce Canyon, we will stop and take some photos at colorful Red Canyon. Overnight in the Bryce Canyon area.
Day 2 - Morning in Bryce hiking and enjoying the expansive vistas. Explore Wall Street as we hike the Navajo Loop Trail into the heart of the hoodoos! In the afternoon we will tour one of the most scenic highways in the US, Utah Highway 12 as traverse Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument to our next destination: Capitol Reef National Park. Overnight Torrey.
Day 3 - Experience the highlights of Capitol Reef National Park. We will drive into Grand Wash and do some easy hiking. We will also see the old schoolhouse and experience pioneer history in town of Fruita Village. After lunch, we tour Goblin Valley State Park and have time to explore and play among the "Goblins." Then on to the famous town of Moab for overnight.
Day 4 - We spend the full day exploring Arches National Park. The Windows, Double Arch, Landscape Arch, and Delicate Arch will be some of the highlights. Overnight Moab.
Day 5 - We start the day at Islands in the Sky, Canyonands National Park. We will visit Grand View Point and other viewpoints before taking a short hike to the spectacular Mesa Arch. Our next stop is nearby Deadhorse Point State Park, known for its amazing panorama view of Canyonlands. After lunch in Moab, we journey south to Monument Valley Tribal Park, in the heart of the Navajo Nation. We enjoy a tour led by a Navajo guide who will give insight on the history and culture of the Dine'. We explore some of the less frequently visited parts of the park which are only accessible with a Navajo guide . The visit ends with a traditional Navajo dinner complete with Native dancing and storytelling. Overnight Monument Valley area.
Day 6 - After breakfast we depart for Page, AZ, where we will take a tour through the most famous slot canyon- Antelope Canyon. Next we will take a short hike to Horseshoe Bend, A fantastic view point high above the Colorado River. Then it is onto the Grand Canyon. We will have all evening to enjoy many viewpoints as we travel along the Grand Canyon's South Rim. The colorful sunsets are incomparable. Overnight Grand Canyon area.
Day 7 - On our final morning we arise early for a spectacular sunrise at Grand Canyon (unless you want to sleep in of course!). After breakfast you have the option of a short hike along the rim trail or possibly a scenic flight over the Grand Canyon (additional charges apply). As we journey back to Las Vegas we will visit Seligman Arizona and drive part of Historic Route 66. The tour concludes at your hotel in Las Vegas in the early evening.
Tour includes transportation, entrance fees to parks listed in the itinerary, Monument Valley Tour and Navajo dinner, Antelope Canyon guided tour, and lodging throughout the tour. Dinner is included at Monument Valley, other meals are not included. Drinks, gratuities, and items of a personal nature are not included.
